Farewell Dieujuste (Justin)
It is with broken hearts that we share the news that Dieujuste (Justin) has gone home to be with Jesus. Justin was almost 3 years old. He had lived with us since he was a baby. We get so attached to the children the longer they have lived with us. His nursing staff, care givers, and sponsors are so sad by his passing. Over the past 24hrs, he developed some health complications with uncontrollable seizures. Nothing seemed to help. The GLA nursing staff worked tirelessly trying to make him better. Jesus decided it was time for him to come home.
Justin was a very happy, easy-going little guy, with such a big personality. His coy, ornery, precious smile lit up every room he entered. His high-pitched voice could be heard from all over the house, and was sure to lift your spirits. The joy he found in every day was incredible. His life touched so many people.
It's hard to believe he's gone from this earth. Please keep his nannies and his friends in your prayers, as well as all of our staff, as there's a piece missing from all of our hearts. Someone said, "God gave him great work to do in a short amount of time. Some of us just take A LOT longer to get our work accomplished." Justin certainly accomplished his work well, and we're so grateful we can rest in the knowledge that he's dancing in heaven. We're thankful for all of the ways Justin touched our lives.
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. -Revelation 21:4
