Networking the Mac Computer to the PC Network…

Okay, I desperately need help again from my Mac people out there in blogger land!  When I left to go to Europe, I could see the Mac from the PCs and the PCs from the Mac.  Then it just stopped working while I was gone!  Someone came to help and they ended up having to completely reload the computer again.  Does this sound familiar? (it happened to me right after we got the Mac)

Now, we can see the Mac from some of the PCs but not all and cannot see any of the PCs from the Mac.  I have Snow Leopard loaded back on the computer now.

I just cannot figure this out and I have looked at every forum and help site available!  Please, can anyone send me information about something we can try to get this all networked together?  I am almost ready to take the Mac off the Updates desk and putting a PC back in its place.

So, please HELP!  :)

Hey Dixie, Ask Darren Bodine, with the Monticello team...he's my husband :) We have a Mac and he is pretty compter savvy, he might be able to figure it out. I sooooo wish I was there with our church group. I can't wait until it is my turn to come work at the orphanage!!! Take care, tell Darren I miss him. Tracy

Did you get this resolved?? Nothing on the MAC will prevent the it from seeing the PCs. Its got to be something with the network. If you can provide more information...specific error messages we can help.
