God's Littlest Angels focuses on three primary areas of ministry to the people of Haiti: our Medical Ministry, our Outreach Ministry, and our Adoption Ministry.
God's Littlest Angels was founded with its primary purpose being the provision of medical care to premature, malnourished, and abandoned infants in Haiti. This purpose still forms the core of our Ministry. We encourage families to find ways to keep their children and provide homes for them. We routinely offer families sponsorship for children to go to school if that will help them to keep their children with them. We offer to keep sick children until they are well and then can return back to their families. We also have sponsorship programs for families to start a small business so that they can support their children.
However, we are regularly called upon to care for children of all ages who have been abandoned by their families, or have been given up by their families due to economic, medical or other circumstances. In order to address the needs that these children have for homes, God's Littlest Angels began our Adoption Ministry - placing the children in Christian homes in North America and Europe.
God's Littlest Angels has assisted many children needing medical care that is not provided in Haiti. We have had children travel to the United States, Canada, Germany, and Spain for medical treatment and surgery. Most of these children returned to live with their biological families once treatment was finished.
We also offer assistance to other orphanages in the community with children who are ill and need more intensive medical care. We work with the orphanage staff to train them on how to care for these children who come to them sick and malnourished.
Another area we help in is a yearly sponsorship program that sends almost 350 local children to school. Only 1 out of every 3 children in Haiti attend school. It is very expensive and out of reach of the average Haitian family.
We hope to influence the spiritual lives of Haitian families as they see Christians from other countries giving so freely to help improve their lives.
